Andy Wallace Photography

Welcome to my photographic website

I’m Head of Information Services/IT Manager at the Port of London Authority (PLA) and I live in Essex. I have a passion for photography which is just a hobby that has somewhat grown out of control. I always have a camera with me and not surprisingly, working for the PLA, I get some great opportunities to take photos of all aspects of the Port, the Thames and the people that work in the Port of London.

Although my photos are dominated by the Thames and the work of the Port of London Authority I cover most genres of photography.

I try to keep the blog more or less up to date on a weekly basis (I normally do an update on a Sunday) but the website is mainly a showcase for my photos ... some good and some not so good!

Many of my photos are also tweeted on PLA’s Twitter feed. If you want to have a look or ‘follow’ please click on this link: https://twitter.com/LondonPortAuth

You can get in touch with me at:

After 10 years of using Nikon equipment I now use Fuji X cameras and lenses (March 2016). I still use Adobe Lightroom with a bit of Photoshop Elements and Nik Color Efex every now and again.  For the website I use Apple iWeb.

If you want to be notified every time I do an update on my blog click here and select RSS Subscribe.

All the photographs are my copyright and may only be used with my permission.

Any views or comments made about the PLA on this site are my personal ones and not necessarily those of the PLA.

Enjoy ....
